چکیده

This article is focused on the in vitro experimental verification of basic necessary conditions for valid interpretation an ion parametric resonance prediction model biological reaction externally applied, extremely low-frequency magnetic field. Experiments are performed organism Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain BY4741, with intention to target calcium ions, which already produced interesting preliminary results within authors’ previous works, confirming specific field settings being bioactive. To study nature and origin reactions more exhaustingly, research aimed at two chosen physical aspects theory. In first part, experiments set up verify point validity ions perform a sensitivity analysis system response around this point. second main attention paid maximum effect BAC/BDC ratios, reflecting theory as well current state art knowledge. Both series have shown results, 29.89 Hz bioactive frequency ratio 1.8. These observations close correlation assumptions targeting ions. The looks even interesting, conducted resulted pronounced frequencies 24.89 34.89 Hz, terms significance, than assumed by investigated model. narrow width peak, typical phenomena resonant nature, was not observed experiments, would be addressed precisely future work authors.

The Measurement of Low Frequency Magnetic Field of Two Kinds of GSM900 Mobile Phone

Introduction:  The  use  of  mobile  communication  systems  has  dramatically  increased  over  the  past  decade. Although many studies have been performed to determine the effect of radio frequency (RF) but  less attention has been paid to the possible biological impact of exposure to extremely low frequency  (ELF) components.   The objective of this study is two folds. One is to design the ...

The Effects of Extremely Low Frequency Pulsed Electromagnetic Field on Biochemical Properties of the Prostate Cancer Cell Line, DU-145

Background: In the recent decades, there has been an increasing effort to study possible biological effects of extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields (ELF-EMFs). In this study, the effects of 50 Hz, 0.6 mT pulsed electromagnetic field on proliferation and biochemical properties, in a prostate cancer cell line, DU-145, and the simultaneous treatment of these cells with electromagnetic fi...

Vesicle biomechanics in a time-varying magnetic field

BACKGROUND Cells exhibit distortion when exposed to a strong electric field, suggesting that the field imposes control over cellular biomechanics. Closed pure lipid bilayer membranes (vesicles) have been widely used for the experimental and theoretical studies of cellular biomechanics under this electrodeformation. An alternative method used to generate an electric field is by electromagnetic i...

Occupational exposure of dentists to extremely-low-frequency magnetic field.

OBJECTIVE To compare occupational exposure to extremely-low-frequency magnetic field (ELF-MF) between dentists practicing in dental clinics and those employed in hospitals. METHODS Thirty-two dentists who worked at clinics (n=15) and 33 dentists employed at hospital dental departments (n=7) voluntarily provided their informed consent to participate in this measurement study. The study dentist...
